Do you support Windows 11?
We support the use of Helm CONNECT with Windows 11. However, please be aware that a known Microsoft issue between Windows 11 and SQL Server LocalDB could affect some asset installations.
Will the Microsoft issue affect my asset computers?
The Microsoft issue only affects some solid-state drives, but unfortunately, we can’t tell in advance if your asset computers will be affected. We recommend installing Helm CONNECT on just one Windows 11 computer first to ensure it works before rolling it out to the rest of your computers. Until Microsoft can resolve this issue with SQL Server LocalDB, our development team can provide a solution to address it on most affected asset computers.
Does the Microsoft issue affect shoreside users?
The Microsoft issue only affects asset installations because they require SQL Server LocalDB; it won’t affect anyone using Helm CONNECT on shore.
