MC Dashboard: Item Details

Overview

The Item Details page provides additional details and insight into component issues or overdue items identified on the Engineering, Closed Items - Fleet Performance, and Open Items - Fleet Performance dashboards.

  • Displays open items with any due dates (all time) and closed items with finished dates in 2019 and 2020.
  • Displays open items by default.
  • Permanently set filter: Asset Name field is not blank.

Slicers

The slicers help you filter and sort the data on the page so you see only what you need.

Tips

  • Press Ctrl and click to select multiple items in a list.
  • If no items are selected from a particular list, data will be displayed for all the items in that list.

Division, Asset

  • Only includes divisions and assets with completed items.
  • When a division is selected, all assets in that division are selected.

Work Type

Includes the following work types from Helm CONNECT:

  • Audits
  • Corrective Actions
  • Forms
  • Inspections
  • Maintenance
  • Tasks

Component Name

  • Based on the Component Name field from Helm CONNECT.
  • Can only filter items with an attached component. If an item doesn't have an attached component, the option will be blank.

Critical System?

  • Based on the Component Critical System field from Helm CONNECT.
  • Can only filter items with an attached component. If an item has an attached component both Yes and No options will be available; if it doesn't have an attached component only the No option will be available.

Finished?

  • Yes: Displays items with finished dates.
  • No: Displays items with no finished date.

Due Date?

  • Yes: Item has a due date.
  • No: Item has no due date.

Due Date

  • Based on the Due Date field from Helm CONNECT.
  • Enter the start and end of the desired date range either by selecting dates from the calendar or by typing them in.

Finished Date

  • Based on the Finished Date, Inspected Date, Filled Date, or Closed Date fields from Helm CONNECT.
  • Enter the start and end of the desired date range either by selecting dates from the calendar or by typing them in.

Assignee

  • Based on the Assignee field from Helm CONNECT. For audits, the Auditor field is the equivalent of the Assignee field.
  • Crew members will appear as options only if they have at least one assigned item.

Finished By

  • Based on the Finished By and Inspected By fields from Helm CONNECT. For audits, the Auditor field is the equivalent of the Finished By field.
  • Crew members will appear as options if they are attached to a finished item.

Item Keyword Search

  • Based on the Checklist Name and Item Description fields from Helm CONNECT.
  • Type into the search bar or select an item name to use this slicer.

KPI Cards

The KPI cards summarize the performance on the page. They can be filtered by the slicers.

Total Items

  • Total count of all items with currently set filters.

Table

NoteTo export data to a CSV file:

  1. Hover over the visualization and click the “” button that appears.
  2. From the drop-down menu, select Export data.

Item Details Table

  • Provides a complete look into all item details.
  • Columns include:
    • Asset
    • Division
    • Item Name/Description
    • Component Name
    • External Number
    • Work Type
    • Due Date
    • Finished Date
    • Finished? - Either Yes or No
    • Due in - Number of days that an item is due in. Negative if still open and overdue; 0 if item is finished.
    • On Time? - Either Yes or No
    • Helm CONNECT Status
    • Assignee
    • Finished By
    • Component Critical System
    • Asset/Shore/Dry Dock
