Deprecating Windows 7 in Version 1.25
We're ending our support for the Windows 7 operating system in Helm CONNECT Version 1.25, which means we'll no longer be testing our releases for compatibility with Windows 7 or providing bug fixes for any issues reported with Windows 7. Although we realize that some of our customers may still be using Windows 7, this change is necessary because Microsoft ended its support for Windows 7 in January 2020 and no longer provides technical support for any issues, software updates, or security updates or fixes.
What does this mean for you?
If you're still using Windows 7 for any of your asset installations, we recommend that you start transitioning to one of our supported operating systems (64-bit versions of Windows 8 or Windows 10) to avoid any disruption to your use of Helm CONNECT. Any customers who continue to use Windows 7 after we release Version 1.25 may find that some features in Helm CONNECT become unusable or that the application becomes inaccessible.
We're here to help
We want all our customers to make this transition successfully. If you have any questions, please reach out to your account manager or contact our Support team:
