Logbook: Offboard a Manifest Passenger
When a passenger leaves your vessel, you need to log their departure by entering a Time Off. This tells the system when their boarding ended, so they stop appearing in the Manifest grid after that date.
To offboard a passenger
- Go to the Onboard > Logs > Manifest tab.
- From the asset list, select the asset the passenger is leaving.
- Use the date navigation to select the departure date.
- In the grid, find the passenger row you want to offboard.
- In the Time Off field, enter the time the person left. You can enter it as "12:15" or "1215"—either format works.
- Press Enter or click outside the field to save.
The Date Off field fills in automatically with the date you selected in step 3. The passenger stops appearing in the grid after this date.
Other ways to enter boarding dates and times
You can also log a passenger's departure using the menu icon (:). This method is helpful when you need to change both the date and time, or when you need to update a Time Off that you already entered.
To offboard a passenger with the menu icon
- Click the menu icon (⋮) on the left side of the passenger's row.
- Select Edit Boarding Dates and Times.
- In the Edit Boarding Dates and Times window, enter or update the Date Off and Time Off fields.
- Click Save Changes.
What you need to know about Time Off
- You can only enter a Time Off that's equal to or later than the Time On
- Once you enter a Time Off, you can't edit it directly in the grid—use the Edit Boarding Dates and Times option from the menu icon (⋮) instead
- The passenger still appears in the grid on their departure date (the Date Off)—they disappear starting the day after
