Logbook: Customize the Manifest Grid
You can personalize how the Manifest grid looks by resizing columns, changing their order, and sorting the data. Your customizations save automatically and stay in place the next time you open the Manifest, making it easier to work with the information that matters most to you.
To resize columns
- Go to the Onboard > Logs > Manifest tab.
- Hover your mouse over the border between two column headers until you see a resize cursor (double-headed arrow).
- Click and drag the border left or right to make the column wider or narrower.
- Release the mouse button when the column is the size you want.
The column stays at your new width until you resize it again.
To reorder columns
- Go to the Onboard > Logs > Manifest tab.
- Click and hold on a column header you want to move.
- Drag the column left or right to a new position.
- Release the mouse button when the column is where you want it.
The column moves to the new position. You can reorder columns as many times as you want to create the layout that works best for you.
NoteThe External Person column stays pinned on the left side of the grid—you can't move it. This makes sure you always see who each row is for, even when you scroll horizontally.
To sort the grid
- Go to the Onboard > Logs > Manifest tab.
- Click on any column header to sort by that column.
- Click the same header again to reverse the sort order (ascending to descending, or vice versa).
An arrow appears in the column header showing which direction you're sorting.
How Your Customizations Work
- Your column widths, positions, and sorting save automatically per user—what you see is just for you
- Other users see their own customizations, not yours
- Your settings stay the same across different assets and dates
- If you want to reset everything, you'll need to manually resize and reorder columns back to their original state
Tips for Customizing Your Grid
- Put the columns you check most often close to the left so you don't have to scroll
- Make narrow columns wider if text gets cut off
- Sort by External Person to group all entries alphabetically
- Sort by a manifest attribute column to see which passengers have that activity checked
