Logbook: Track Daily Manifest Activities
Once you've added passengers to the Manifest, you can track their daily activities and services by checking boxes in the grid. This is how you record things like meals served, accommodations provided, or required activities completed.
To track daily activities
- Go to the Onboard > Logs > Manifest tab.
- From the asset list, select the asset you want to work with.
- Use the date navigation to select the date you want to track activities for.
- In the grid, find the passenger row you want to update.
- Check or uncheck the boxes in the manifest attribute type columns to record what happened that day.
- Your changes save automatically—you don't need to click a save button.
The grid shows all passengers who are aboard on the selected date. You can check as many or as few attribute boxes as you need.
Understanding daily vs. per-visit attributes
The Manifest grid shows two types of attributes:
- Daily attributes appear on the right side of the grid. You can check or uncheck them separately for each day. For example, if you track breakfast, lunch, and dinner, you might check "Breakfast" and "Lunch" but leave "Dinner" unchecked if the passenger ate dinner ashore.
- Per-visit attributes appear pinned on the left side of the grid. When you check or uncheck them, they show the same value for all days of the boarding. For example, if you check "Safety Orientation," it stays checked for every day the passenger is aboard.
TipHover over any column heading to see a tooltip that tells you whether it's a daily or per-visit attribute.
How the grid works across dates
- When you navigate to a different date, the grid shows passengers who are aboard on that date
- Daily attributes start unchecked for each new day—you need to check them each day
- Per-visit attributes keep the value you set, no matter what date you're viewing
- If you haven't entered a Time Off yet, the passenger appears on every date going forward
