Logbook: Delete a Manifest Entry
If you added a passenger by mistake or need to remove their boarding record, you can delete the entire manifest entry. This removes the passenger from all dates and deletes all their activity data for this boarding.
To delete a manifest entry
- Go to the Onboard > Logs > Manifest tab.
- From the asset list, select the asset you want to work with.
- In the grid, find the passenger row you want to delete.
- Click the menu icon (⋮) on the left side of the row.
- Select Delete Manifest Entry.
- In the warning window, review the information to ensure you're deleting the correct entry.
- Click Delete to confirm.
The passenger disappears from the Manifest grid on all dates. All the manifest attribute values (checkboxes) for this boarding are also deleted.
What gets deleted
When you delete a manifest entry, you remove:
- The passenger's boarding record (Date On, Time On, Date Off, Time Off)
- All manifest attribute values for this boarding (all the checkboxes you checked)
- The passenger from the grid for all dates in this boarding period
What doesn't get deleted
Deleting a manifest entry doesn't delete:
- The external person's profile—they still exist in Management > People > External People
- Their identification documents, notes, or attachments
- Any other manifest entries for this person on different vessels or dates
Important NoteYou can't undo a deletion. If you delete an entry by mistake, you'll need to add the passenger to the Manifest again and re-enter their activity data.
