Crew Scheduling: Set Up Approval Policies
Your approval policy determines whether crew changes completed on your assets need to be approved on shore. If you select Shore Approval Required, completed crew changes appear on the Pending tab of the Personnel > Schedule > Crew Changes tab until someone on shore approves or denies them. Payroll starts counting a crew member's time onboard once their crew on is approved. If you select No Approvals, completed crew changes don't need approval and the Pending tab doesn't appear.
Either way, the asset's current crew and the schedule are updated as soon as someone saves a completed crew change. You can also use a different setting for specific asset types.
