Can I reset my expired or temporary password from an asset installation?
Yes. If your password has expired or is temporary, you can reset it right from an asset installation, without switching to shore. When you log in and your password needs to be reset, Helm CONNECT prompts you to enter a new one, just like it would on shore.
- If the asset is connected to the internet, your new password is confirmed with shore right away, so you can log in immediately.
- If there's no internet connection, you'll see an error message letting you know a connection is required to finish the reset.
