Logs – Overview of Logs
Onboard > Logs displays all of an asset's unfinished work, including any tasks, inspections, inventory checklists, maintenance routines, or forms. It also gives the crew one place to track all their finished work and quickly log new tasks, such as repairs.
In Onboard > Logs, the tabs, other than History, are work spaces for your crew members. They're places to organize tasks according to who should see them or work on them. Work spaces or "spaces" are very flexible. For example, you could have one space for the captain (Wheelhouse), another for the mate (Mate's Desk), and a third for the rest of the crew (Engine Log). When work items are completed, they are moved to the History tab.
Onboard
In Onboard > Logs, if someone logs a new task, it will only display in the space where the task was logged. For example, if someone logs a task in the Wheelhouse space, it will only display in the Wheelhouse.
On shore
In Onboard > Overview, anyone creating or editing a task must select a space for that task. This controls which space the task will display in when viewed in Onboard > Logs.
