You can set up an approval limit for your requisitions if required. This means you can decide on a minimum amount that will require approval, then give a specific role or roles the ability to approve any requisitions that reach an estimated cost equal to or above this amount. If a requisition needs approval, it will appear in your list of requisitions with the status of 'Awaiting Approval'.
- From the Setup menu, select Requisitions.
- Click the Requisition Approval Configurations tab.
- Click the Edit button.
- In the Minimum Approval field, enter the minimum amount that will require approval. Any requisitions with an estimated cost equal to or above this amount will require approval.
- In the Approval Role field, select the role or roles that can approve any requisition with an estimated cost equal to or above the minimum approval amount.
- Click Save.
