Can I whitelist the IP addresses that Helm CONNECT uses?
No, because the IP addresses are generated dynamically on the web servers. Instead, we recommend that you whitelist the URL of your tenant.
For example, you'd replace tenant in the following with your own tenant name:
- https://tenant.helmconnect.com (https://tenant.helmconnect.com:443)
- http://tenant.helmconnect.com (http://tenant.helmconnect.com:80)
Local asset installations
A local asset installation of Helm CONNECT initiates all connections from the asset to shore over HTTPS, so you shouldn’t have to open any inbound ports on any firewalls on the local installation. If you typically block outbound connections, however, you'll need to allow outbound connections on the local installation to the above URLs.
