Why do addresses appear in my drop-down lists?
This happens when the "Save and fill addresses" setting is turned on in your Chrome browser. This setting can be helpful if you want the browser to automatically populate your drop-down lists with addresses you've saved within Chrome. However, it can be frustrating if it's turned on while you're using Helm CONNECT because the displayed addresses may obscure the items you're trying to select from your drop-down lists.
What can I do if it happens?
If addresses you've saved in Chrome appear in a drop-down list while you're using Helm CONNECT, press the Esc button on your keyboard to remove them from the list.
How do I change this setting in Chrome?
You can change your Chrome settings to prevent the browser from displaying saved addresses in your drop-down lists.
To prevent Chrome from saving and filling addresses
- In the upper-right corner of your Chrome browser window, click the Customize and control menu then select Settings.
- On the Settings page, under People, click Addresses and more.
- At the top of the Addresses and more page, disable the Save and fill addresses option.
